Agreement of numeral adjectives
"Vingt" and "cent" take an -s when they are multiplied and not followed by another number. "Mille" is always unchanged.
Vingt and cent take -s if they are multiplied AND end the number. Mille never takes -s.
Examples
Quatre-vingts euros.

4 x 20, not followed by another number, so it takes -s.
Quatre-vingt-deux élèves.

Followed by "deux", so no -s.

Common mistakes
- Writing "quatre-vingt euros" without the -s
- Writing "trois milles" with an -s
- Writing "quatre-vingts-deux" with an -s before another number
