What your learners do between two classes. Independent dictation practice, from A1 to C2.
Written accuracy is what adult learners of French struggle with longest, and it is the hardest thing to drill in a group class. Between two sessions most learners practise very little, and what they do is rarely written.
Apostrophe· fills that gap: five minutes of dictation, corrected word by word, with the exact grammar rule behind every mistake.
One per learner, valid for one academic year.
They activate the code online, in two minutes.
Five minutes in the evening, on their own phone.
There is nothing to install on your equipment, nothing to configure and no training to plan.
Dictation is the one exercise that trains comprehension, spelling and grammar in a single movement.
Each learner works at their own level, independently of the class group.
France, Belgium, Switzerland, Quebec. Useful when your learners are not all headed for Paris.
Mistakes come back later, just before the learner forgets them. Nothing for your teachers to schedule.
The correction is not handed to a language model. It is computed by our own code, word by word. AI is used only to write the explanation once the error has been found. A learner is therefore never marked wrong on a correct answer, which matters when it is your teaching that gets questioned.
Your institution has no individual tracking: no dashboard, no per-learner statistics, no record of who practises and who does not.
Activation uses an account the learner creates with their own e-mail address. The dictation answers never leave their phone. There is therefore no record of what a learner wrote, neither on your side nor on ours. The details are in our privacy policy.
Apostrophe· is developed in France by one person. Write to me and I answer you directly.
